Who we are
This website is run by MekitBuild, a trading name of Sendmoi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16008012). When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Sendmoi Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@mekitbuild.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message field. We do not ask for anything else, and the site does not collect data about you in the background.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and, if you want to work with us, to scope and quote the project. Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services. If we go on to work together, we keep your details to perform that contract.
Who processes it
The contact form is handled by Formspree, a form service that receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Formspree processes the data on our behalf and stores it on servers in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK under the safeguards Formspree provides. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep a record of our correspondence. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we delete it once it is clearly no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics that identify you.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. To make any of these requests, email us at hello@mekitbuild.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you do.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
